I have just received your CD on “Guided Imagery Relaxation: The Catholic Way”. I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am that I sent for this CD. Your calm voice really has an appealing touch to a relaxing mode and most of all I love the prayers towards the end of the first session. I have yet to listen to the 2nd part. Thank you so much for your affirmation to the Catholic faith.

I ordered the relaxation CD a week or so ago, and just listened to track 2 last night. What a wonderful CD!! I have suffered from panic/anxiety on and off for almost 30 years. All of the relaxation CDs I have purchased are sort of new-age-y, as you mentioned somewhere on this website. This incorporates so many wonderful prayers and Catholic direction and meditation. I just loved it. . . . It is such an uplifting CD. I was very discouraged by all the “new age” relaxation methods, including yoga.

I received the CD on Thursday (it arrived in 2 days!). It is absolutely a beautiful product. The photograph is beautiful and the guided imagery itself is, I feel, a kind of work of art. I am happy it is embedded with a Catholic and TRUTHFUL message. I realized from what you have said that so much of this kind of thing is embedded with this modern “spirituality-type” stuff. It treats us as though we were the center of the universe. That’s actually a pretty awful place to be, I think.
One other thing - when I first listened to the CD, one of my two cats was in the room with me. I did not have my eyes closed but wanted to listen to it through first, for some reason. I noticed the behavior of my cat. My cat was lying on her back with her eyes closed and her ears straight up. Her paws tucked under and together, almost like she was praying. She seemed MESMERIZED by the sound of your voice. She’s a fidgety little thing but she didn’t move a muscle for the full half hour. My two birds who are usually twittering in the backround also were silent. The sound of your voice (I’m assuming it was your voice) filled the room with a peace unusual for this place because usually the radio is going. I think it was beneficial to all of us. I’m going to try to start listening to it frequently - sitting still is VERY hard for me. My mind seems to be racing and thinking constant negative thoughts.

[Yes, it’s my voice. RLR]
